Hello, my name is Mike Warren and I make stuff.
I design and build functional prototypes out of whatever I can get my hands on, the results explore the intersection of functionality with whimsical absurdity. My aim is to inspire, educate, and entertain. The results can be messy, but are always fun!
As an educational content creator for Instructables, I write easy to follow classes on everything from woodworking to rockets. My projects and classes are carefully documented and open-source. You should try them. They are fun, I promise!
My work has been featured worldwide in print media like Wired, The New York Times, Popular Science, C|NET, and New Scientist. I've also had my projects shown on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Daily Planet, Discovery, Japanese Television, and The Science Channel.
I sometimes make videos of things Cut In Half on YouTube.
